Airbus, the leading European aerospace company, announced a strong performance in October with the delivery of 78 commercial aircraft to various customers worldwide. The deliveries included 68 narrow-body aircraft, consisting of models such as the A220-300, A319neo, A320neo, and A321neo, as well as 10 wide-body jets, including the A330-900, A350-900, and A350-1000. This level of activity highlights Airbus's sustained production rate and global demand for its aircraft models.

In addition to its deliveries, Airbus secured 112 new aircraft orders in October. These comprised predominantly A320neo-family aircraft, with 4 A320neos (including 3 unidentified and one for a private customer), 106 A321neos (including 100 for VietJet), and two A350 Freighters for MNG Cargo. As of October, Airbus's total orders for the year reached 722 aircraft, with 625 net orders, further consolidating its position as the top commercial aircraft producer globally.

Outlook and Production Goals

Aircraft deliveries for the first ten months have totaled 585 units, serving 85 customers worldwide. The company's ambitious goal remains to deliver approximately 820 aircraft by the end of 2025. Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury affirmed this target during the quarterly results presentation, emphasizing that the last two months of the year are expected to be particularly busy. Airbus's previous full-year delivery count reached 766 aircraft in 2024, indicating a steady increase in production and sales activity this year.

This performance underscores Airbus's resilience and the sustained demand in the commercial aircraft market, particularly amid ongoing challenges in global aviation. The company's focus on operational efficiency and expanding its manufacturing capacity will be pivotal in meeting its future delivery commitments.
