Ryanair plans to expand its Italian base at Turin with additional routes and frequencies, and Air Arabia has launched flights connecting Ras Al Khaimah with Kazan, Russia.
European Air Travel Adjustments
In Europe, Breeze Airways announced multiple new routes focusing on the western US and Florida, including several from Las Vegas and Orange County. British Airways will withdraw some routes from London Heathrow in March, while Finnair will operate a seasonal increase to Thailand, including new nonstop flights to Krabi. Eurowings has started a new service from Berlin to Abu Dhabi, and Turkish Airlines resumes flights to Sulaymaniyah, Iraq.
Asia-Pacific and Regional Connectivity
Asia-Pacific carriers like Cathay Pacific and Air China announced routes to Chinese and Middle Eastern destinations, while Hong Kong Airlines is resuming flights to Hanoi and Xi’an. Air New Zealand will offer seasonal flights to Rarotonga. Regional carriers FlyNamibia and Fastjet are partnering to enhance connectivity within Africa. In the Middle East, Emirates will upgrade capacity to Cairo.
