Dassault Aviation has introduced the Falcon 10X, its most ambitious business jet to date, emphasizing a spacious interior and cutting-edge technology. The aircraft's interior is eight inches wider and two inches taller than comparable models, enabling more flexible and comfortable design options. The Falcon 10X is capable of reaching speeds approaching Mach 0.925 and has a maximum range of 7,500 nautical miles, facilitating ultra-long-distance flights such as New York to Shanghai or Beijing to Paris.
The aircraft features a new fuselage with nearly 50% larger windows than its predecessor, floods of natural light, and the capacity for various configurations including dining areas, private suites, full-size bedrooms, and optional showers. Its wing incorporates a composite structure that enhances aerodynamic efficiency while maintaining agility. The cockpit, branded NeXus, offers advanced automation tools designed to reduce pilot workload and improve situational awareness, including enhanced vision systems for low visibility conditions.
The Falcon 10X is powered by Rolls-Royce Pearl engines, which integrate the newest core technology to deliver over 18,000 pounds of thrust while maintaining low noise and emissions. The aircraft also introduces the third generation of Dassault's fly-by-wire digital flight control system, supporting increased safety features like automatic recovery modes. The program is now moving toward flight testing, with the goal of entering service soon. Dassault's emphasis on technological innovation aims to offer an unparalleled experience for operators and passengers alike.
