Aircraft interior company JETMS has announced plans to relocate its production operations from the United Kingdom to Lithuania, specifically to Kaunas, effective from January 1, 2026. The move includes transferring the full-scale cabin manufacturing, refurbishment, and installation activities to the new 65,000 square-foot facility, which will be overseen by CEO Mindaugas Trapenskis.
The company states that this strategic decision aims to combine its UK design and engineering expertise with Lithuania’s manufacturing capabilities, thereby supporting long-term growth. The UK-based JETMS Completions Ltd will continue to operate as the group’s research and development center, focusing on cabin design, certification, and modification programs.
Stefan Chevalier, CEO of JETMS, emphasized that the transition is an evolution of the company's growth strategy and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and service. This move allows JETMS to optimise its operations, enhance its production capacity, and deliver increased value to its customers.
