MSC Air Cargo, a prominent Italian freight operator, is adjusting its flight operations due to ongoing runway maintenance at Milan Malpensa International Airport. Starting March 31, 2026, some flights will be relocated to Brescia, with the temporary change expected to last until June 10. This initiative is part of the airline’s efforts to maintain reliable services during scheduled infrastructural work.

The carrier will also modify its flight schedule to Shanghai Pudong, splitting weekly flights between Rome Fiumicino and Brescia to adapt to logistical needs. Flights to Hong Kong International will likewise be transferred to Brescia, while additional services to Ezhou are planned, departing from both Brescia and Milan Malpensa.

Supporting these operational adjustments, MSC Air Cargo recently added a third Boeing 777-200F, msn 70552, registered I-MSCC, to its fleet. The new aircraft will facilitate expansion and increased freight capacity, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to offering expanded and flexible services in Europe and Asia.

The fleet enhancement and route modifications underscore MSC Air Cargo’s strategy to strengthen its logistics network, improve operational resilience, and meet growing market demand for freight services out of Italy.
