Myanmar Airways International (MAI) has deployed the Aviator revenue management system from Maxamation to enhance its revenue growth and support its expanding international network. Operating a fleet of Airbus, Embraer, and ATR aircraft, MAI connects Myanmar with destinations throughout Southeast Asia, including long-haul markets like Dubai, India, China, and South Korea. As the airline plans to add new routes and increase capacity, it required a sophisticated solution to optimize revenue management.

The Aviator platform offers advanced demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and dynamic pricing adjustments, enabling MAI to maximize passenger revenue on all flights. The system has now gone live across the airline’s entire international network, providing automated revenue optimization tools and improved oversight for the revenue management team.

Supporting Digital Transformation and Growth

The CEO of MAI, Tanes Kumar, highlighted that the deployment supports the airline’s digital transformation and operational efficiency goals. "The implementation of Maxamation’s Aviator platform provides MAI with automation and better control over revenue strategies," he stated. "Both companies believe this partnership will support MAI’s growth in the competitive airline industry."
