Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline Flyadeal has launched a new integrated operations control center at Jeddah Airport, marking a significant upgrade in its flight management capabilities. The center, which is four times larger than its previous facility, is designed to oversee key operational functions such as flight dispatch, crew scheduling, and aircraft maintenance, ensuring higher safety standards and efficiency across the airline’s network.
Located in Jeddah—a primary hub connecting domestic and international routes—the control center operates around the clock to coordinate flights in real time. This development aims to enhance punctuality, reduce delays, and improve the overall travel experience for passengers on both leisure and pilgrimage trips.
The airline operates over 250 daily flights from its key hubs in Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam, serving more than 30 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. Looking ahead, Flyadeal plans to expand its fleet and network, targeting over 100 destinations globally by the year 2030. The addition of Madinah as a new operational hub underscores its commitment to catering to religious travelers and expanding tourism access within Saudi Arabia.
This strategic investment in operational infrastructure reflects the Kingdom’s vision of becoming a regional travel hub, providing travelers with safer, more reliable, and more connected journeys. The new facility exemplifies Saudi Arabia’s broader goals of modernizing its aviation sector and boosting international tourism.
