Thailand's aviation authorities have assured the public that recent border conflicts with Cambodia have not impacted flight operations or the high-season tourism sector. The Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (AEROTHAI) confirmed that ongoing clashes are occurring away from major airports and key tourist areas, facilitating the continuation of normal flight services.

According to Pichet Kunadhamraks, AEROTHAI's chairman, Thailand remains capable of managing international flights securely and effectively. Over the past year, the country has handled nearly 20,000 international flights, with Seoul's Incheon Airport accounting for the largest portion. Flight volumes between Thailand and South Korea are projected to increase from 54 to 60 flights daily during late 2025, indicating steady growth and robust travel confidence.

Implications for Tourism and Future Outlook

The statement encourages South Korean tourists to visit Thailand, emphasizing the country's natural, cultural, and culinary attractions. Thai airports and airlines confirm their readiness to support travelers, reaffirming Thailand's resilience and commitment to its tourism industry despite regional tensions.

Overall, aviation operations continue smoothly, and tourism activities are unaffected, showcasing Thailand's ability to sustain its economic and leisure sectors during regional conflicts.
