Indonesian airline TransNusa has announced the launch of additional scheduled flights connecting Jakarta and Singapore, as well as Bali and Singapore, to enhance regional connectivity. The new services aim to meet increasing demand and support trade, tourism, and economic ties between Indonesia and Singapore.
The Jakarta–Singapore route will see increased capacity starting April 17, with flights operating thrice daily. Flight 8B 155 departs Jakarta’s Soekarno–Hatta International Airport at 7:45 p.m. and arrives at Singapore Changi Airport at 10:25 p.m. Conversely, flight 8B 156 departs Singapore at 11:20 p.m. and lands in Jakarta at 12:10 a.m. This expansion is part of TransNusa’s broader strategy to provide more seamless connectivity across Southeast Asia.
New Bali–Singapore Flights
On the Bali–Singapore route, two new flights will be introduced. Flight 8B 553 departs Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali at 10:20 a.m., arriving at Changi Airport at 1:15 p.m. Meanwhile, flight 8B 554 departs Changi at 2:15 p.m., returning to Bali at 5:55 p.m. Both routes will utilize Airbus A320 aircraft, supporting the airline’s domestic and international fleet.
"Singapore is one of the region’s vital aviation and commercial hubs, and these additional flights will provide travelers with greater scheduling flexibility," said Datuk Bernard Francis, CEO of TransNusa Group. "Our goal is to enhance accessibility and facilitate seamless connections for passengers traveling across Southeast Asia and beyond."
By increasing frequency on these high-demand routes, TransNusa aims to strengthen regional air travel networks and foster economic growth, aligning with Indonesia’s regional aviation expansion goals.
