Third-party logistics provider AGX Group Bhd has announced that its Vietnam-based subsidiary has secured a significant contract with Vietjet Air to deliver aviation-related services. The agreement, signed on November 1, 2025, and effective until October 31, 2027, involves freight forwarding and customs brokerage services for shipments on an ongoing basis, particularly for aircraft on ground.
This strategic move reflects AGX's expansion in the region, enhancing its footprint in Vietnam amid Southeast Asia’s growing aviation market. The company’s CEO, Datuk Ponnudorai Periasamy, emphasized their commitment to leveraging regional networks for long-term growth. Recently, AGX also secured service agreements with other Vietnamese carriers, indicating a broader regional presence.
Market performance and outlook
Since its listing in February 2024 at 35 sen per share, AGX’s shares have risen to 45.5 sen, placing its market value at approximately RM195 million. The company views this expansion as a milestone in strengthening its position within Southeast Asia’s aviation logistics sector, with ongoing efforts to capitalize on high-growth opportunities.
