The Zeevo Group and Lease Logic have introduced 'Ask Roger,' an artificial intelligence tool designed to assist professionals in the aviation finance sector. Unveiled at the ISTAT Americas conference, Ask Roger enables users to ask natural language questions about their lease portfolios, maintenance reserves, contract terms, and payment schedules, receiving instant, structured responses. This innovative feature is built directly into the Fly Forward platform and draws data in real-time from the user's secure environment, ensuring up-to-date information is provided.
John McCartney, CTO at Lease Logic, explained that the goal of Ask Roger is to streamline workflows by reducing the time spent on navigating dashboards and generating reports. Instead, users can inquire about lease expiries, fleet exposure, or other key metrics and receive immediate answers. The AI assistant operates as a lightweight widget on the system’s interface, leveraging the platform's architecture for accuracy and security. Its responses are sourced directly from live data, eliminating reliance on cached or external language models.
Industry collaboration and capabilities
The development team created pre-designed prompts for common aviation finance questions, covering areas such as lease structures, fleet status, invoicing, and maintenance reserves. Omar Zuluaga of Zeevo Group noted that the tool can drastically reduce the time required for detailed maintenance reserve analysis, which previously involved lengthy document searches. The implementation of Ask Roger exemplifies the industry's shift toward digital automation, promising efficiency gains for aircraft lessors, asset managers, and finance advisors alike.
