Air Astana has announced a renewed share repurchase programme for 2026, aiming to buy back up to 1,506,583 shares for a total of USD 4 million. The initiative follows recent approvals and forms part of the airline’s long-term capital management strategy, with purchases facilitated on multiple stock exchanges, including the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange.
The airline's ongoing efforts include a focus on fleet modernization and expansion. Its current fleet comprises various Airbus models, notably the Airbus A320 and A321 series, alongside Boeing B767 aircraft. The low-cost subsidiary FlyArystan operates a fleet focused on Airbus A320 aircraft, supporting the airline’s integrated network.
Headquartered in Astana, Air Astana's main hub at Nursultan Nazarbayev Airport connects 41 destinations across 73 routes with an average of 85 daily flights.
