Air France has successfully received its 15th and final Airbus A220-300 aircraft from ABL Aviation, completing a sale-and-leaseback arrangement that was initiated in 2022. The delivery of this modern narrow-body aircraft, which flew from Montréal-Mirabel Airport in Canada, marks an important milestone in the airline's fleet renewal strategy.
The Airbus A220-300, equipped with Pratt & Whitney PW1521G-3 engines, has already been operating on routes across Europe, including cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Marseille, Toulouse, and Vienna. This move supports Air France’s ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact through fleet modernization.
According to Ali Ben Lmadani, Founder and CEO of ABL Aviation, this accomplishment underscores the company's expertise in managing complex leasing mandates. He also praised the partnership with Air France, highlighting the tailored financing solutions and rigorous execution that contributed to the successful delivery of all 15 aircraft.
