Airbus has reinforced its commitment to aviation safety through the development of the Destination 10X platform, a global initiative aimed at reducing accident rates and sharing best practices among industry stakeholders. The platform organizes regional events and workshops, bringing together safety professionals to discuss issues such as runway incursions and GNSS interference. Notably, a Middle East workshop in 2024 showcased collaborative efforts to address safety threats, with participants developing awareness campaigns and mitigation strategies.

In a recent session, Captain Anders Hedblom of Qatar Airways highlighted the importance of sharing operational experiences, especially regarding the challenges posed by GNSS interference in conflict zones. Airbus presented future enhancements in navigation equipment to support airlines facing these issues. The ongoing workshops are expected to facilitate continuous improvements in aviation safety through a shared and proactive approach.
