AerFin, a UK-based aircraft leasing and parts company, is undertaking the dismantling of more than ten aircraft in a project aimed at meeting increasing demand for used aircraft components. The aircraft involved include Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX models, which have reached around 10 and 9 years of service respectively. This program is being executed in partnership with Tarmac Aerosave, which operates facilities in France and Spain, and is responsible for the dismantling process, covering cabin and landing gear removal, as well as parts management.

The initiative reflects market trends where even relatively young aircraft generate high demand for their components. AerFin's CEO, Simon Bayliss, stated that this activity demonstrates the company's prominent position in the aircraft dismantling and recycling sector. Tarmac Aerosave's Chief Commercial Officer, Christian Ceruti, added that this collaboration underscores their industry leadership, with the facilities managing over 2,000 aircraft since 2007 and preparing for additional work in 2027.
