AirExplore and KlasJet, two Lithuanian-based airlines authorized under European AOCs regulated by EASA, have announced a strategic organizational alignment aimed at increasing operational efficiency and service flexibility across their respective markets. The initiative involves maintaining their distinct brands—KlasJet focusing on VIP and private charters, and AirExplore on ACMI operations—while unifying back-end operations under a consolidated leadership team.

Justinas Bulka has been appointed CEO of AirExplore, continuing his role as CEO of KlasJet, resulting in a dual leadership structure that supports integrated operations. Both airlines operate Boeing aircraft within their fleets, which will enable the standardization of technical and maintenance procedures. This alignment is expected to accelerate aircraft deployment, especially into markets such as the UK, US, and Canada via the Lithuanian AOC.

Strategic Goals and Fleet Integration

Bulka stated, "Bringing AirExplore and KlasJet closer together allows us to deploy aircraft faster and scale more efficiently. By leveraging the unique strengths of each brand while unifying our back-end operations, we are positioning ourselves to be the most agile partner in the European aviation sector." The airlines plan to utilize internal resources effectively, maintaining their individual brand identities to cater to their core markets.

AirExplore's fleet includes Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, both passenger and freighter configurations, notably the 737-800 BCF. This move aims to expand operational reach and improve responsiveness to market demands. The companies will continue to operate independently under their respective AOCs, ensuring brand integrity while enhancing their service capabilities.
