Embraer has announced an expansion of its component support program in partnership with regional airline Airlink. The new agreement now covers ten additional Embraer E195-E2 jets, bringing the total aircraft supported under the program to 78, including existing fleet models. The support framework aims to improve operational reliability, reduce fleet downtime, and optimize maintenance costs for Airlink, which operates flights across 15 countries in southern and eastern Africa.

Since 2001, Airlink has been a customer of Embraer, benefiting from its comprehensive support network. The airline’s CEO, de Villiers Engelbrecht, stated that this expanded partnership provides security and efficiency needed as they introduce the new E195-E2 models into their fleet. Embraer's President and CEO of Services & Support, Carlos Naufel, highlighted that the Pool Program offers significant savings and tailored solutions to airlines worldwide, reinforcing Embraer’s commitment to sustaining fleet performance.

Supporting regional airlines like Airlink, Embraer’s program is designed to ensure aircraft availability and operational excellence through technical expertise and extensive service networks. This move aligns with Embraer’s ongoing strategy to enhance its aftermarket services and support African airline growth, further solidifying its presence in the region’s aviation sector.
