The French regional aircraft manufacturer ATR - Avions de Transport Régional, has reported that its aircraft deliveries in 2025 totaled 32 units, falling short of its initial forecast of approximately 40 aircraft. This shortfall was primarily driven by ongoing supply chain disruptions that hampered production schedules and hindered timely deliveries.
Of the aircraft delivered, 26 were officially handed over to customers, with the remaining units potentially delayed due to logistical issues. The company stated it did not disclose the precise split between different variants, though external data indicates deliveries included four ATR42-600s and twenty-two ATR72-600s. The delays are attributed to the complex supply chain challenges affecting the aerospace industry globally.
Headquartered in Toulouse Blagnac, ATR remains a pivotal player in regional aviation, especially for short-haul routes across multiple markets. The company emphasized its efforts to resolve supply chain obstacles in order to meet future delivery targets, which are critical for supporting regional airlines’ expansion and fleet renewal plans. Industry analysts suggest that mitigating supply chain issues will be essential for ATR's recovery and continued growth.
