Australian Corporate Jet Centres (ACJC) has announced that it will operate two new Embraer E190-E2 jets, with plans for service initiation in April 2026, subject to approval from Australia's Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). The aircraft form part of ACJC's strategic growth plan to bolster its premium aviation capabilities in the region. The organisation's existing fleet includes several business jets, such as Challenger 604, Global Express, and Citation series, which will complement the new aircraft.
Sam Iliades, the owner of ACJC, stated that this expansion reflects their commitment to delivering high-quality air transport solutions tailored for corporate clients. The company currently operates two Embraer E145s, based at Melbourne Essendon and Brisbane International, with an average age of approximately 25 years. The incoming E190-E2s are expected to either replace or augment these aircraft as part of the fleet enhancement.
Regional fleet modernization and service expansion
The regional aviation landscape in Australia continues to modernize, supported by investments in newer aircraft types. The recent registration of an E190-E2 to Virgin Australia Regional, alongside another aircraft stored at Brisbane International, indicates ongoing fleet adaptation to meet market demands. These developments underscore ACJC’s focus on maintaining competitive and flexible regional and corporate services, pending regulatory clearance.
