Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has announced a significant expansion of its Boeing 737 MAX fleet, ordering 50 additional aircraft which includes the 737-8 and 737-10 models. This order lifts ACG's total Boeing 737 MAX orders to 121, making it the largest order for the 737-10 from any lessor. The company cites strategic growth and confidence in Boeing's fuel-efficient aircraft as key reasons for the purchase.
Thomas Baker, CEO and President of ACG, explained that this order enhances their ability to deliver aircraft to customers globally from 2026 through 2033, supporting their growth strategy. Boeing's Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales and Marketing, Brad McMullen, affirmed the importance of ACG as a partner and emphasized the appeal of the 737 MAX family, which provides airlines with route flexibility for short and medium-haul flights. To date, nearly 1,300 737 MAX jets have been ordered worldwide, underscoring the model’s popularity among lessors and operators.
Founded in 1989 and owned by Tokyo Century Corporation, ACG manages approximately 470 aircraft leased to around 90 airlines in more than 50 countries. Boeing remains committed to delivering innovative, fuel-efficient aircraft solutions that address the evolving needs of the aviation industry.
