During the Singapore Airshow, Asian Aviation magazine celebrated the achievements of two distinguished contributors at the Aerospace Media Awards Asia. Michael Doran, based in Australia, was honored for his reporting on the helicopter industry, notably for his story "Helicopters Are Here To Stay," published in 2024. Doran's extensive work includes interviews with prominent airline CEOs such as those from Emirates, Singapore Airlines, and Qantas, showcasing his influence in aviation journalism.

Hong Kong journalist Roetta Wang, a newcomer to Asian Aviation, also received the Best New Asia-Pacific Journalist award. Her early career in Chinese aviation reporting has already garnered recognition, and she expressed enthusiasm for continuing her coverage in the field.
