Bangladesh and the United States Discuss Aviation Sector Cooperation

Bangladesh and the United States engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing collaboration in the aviation sector. During a courtesy visit to the Secretariat in Dhaka, US Ambassador Brent T. Christensen met with Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroz Khanam to explore avenues for further strengthening bilateral relations. The meeting was also attended by State Minister M. Rashiduzzaman Millat.

Both delegations emphasized the importance of deepening their longstanding partnership, with Bangladesh seeking US support for modernization and capacity building within its aviation industry. Ambassador Christensen reassured Washington's continued commitment and expressed readiness to support the Bangladesh government’s shared development priorities.

This diplomatic engagement highlights ongoing efforts by Bangladesh and the US to foster international cooperation in the aviation sector, aiming to improve infrastructure, safety, and operational efficiency. Such initiatives are crucial for supporting economic growth and regional connectivity in Bangladesh.
