Can Tho city is actively pursuing expanded cooperation with the Republic of Korea in sectors such as aviation technology, high-tech workforce development, and digital innovation. During a recent meeting with Korean representatives, local officials expressed strong interest in attracting Korean investment, emphasizing the city's strategic position within the Mekong Delta as an ideal location for advanced technological collaborations.

Deputy Secretary Nguyen Tuan Anh highlighted the city's readiness to facilitate research initiatives, promote investment, and forge partnerships with companies like ANH Structure and Seokyeong Broadcasting. The local government committed to providing Korea with comprehensive information about investment opportunities in industrial zones and high-tech areas, aiming to foster mutual growth in science, technology, and media sectors.

Focus on Aviation and Human Resource Development

Korean businesses showed particular interest in civil aviation applications, with ANH Structure proposing cooperation in aviation engineering. This initiative could include developing mechanical engineering training programs through partnerships between Can Tho universities and Korean institutions, leveraging expertise from Korea's aviation companies.

"Following this visit, we will explore further opportunities for infrastructure development and investment expansion,"

said Mr. Hyonsu, General Director of ANH Structure.

In cultural and media exchanges, Seokyeong Broadcasting's director proposed joint programs in arts, tourism, and education to enhance people-to-people relationships. Overall, Can Tho seeks to position itself as an attractive destination for high-tech investors, supported by modern infrastructure and educational resources.
