The delivery highlights a broader plan to acquire four new aircraft, with the first two leased from CDB Aviation and the remaining to arrive later this fall.

This new aircraft model is expected to improve operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact, with estimates of a 20% reduction in fuel consumption and emissions. TAROM's CEO, Cristian Anghel, emphasized that the fleet renewal aligns with the airline's goals of route optimization and enhanced passenger service, especially focusing on flights to European capital cities.

The delivery marks a crucial step in TAROM’s ongoing efforts to modernize its fleet and improve operational performance.

The strategic fleet update is part of TAROM’s broader restructuring plan aimed at modernizing and expanding its international services, reaffirming its role as Romania’s national carrier. Further details about the airline's plans and future fleet investments can be expected to support its growth.
