Global air charter specialist Chapman Freeborn has opened a new office in Zhengzhou, marking its sixth presence in China alongside Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Shenzhen. The office’s inauguration follows the recruitment of a dedicated team in September and aims to strengthen the company’s foothold in the Chinese market. Zhengzhou was selected due to its strategic location near Xinzheng International Airport, which handles a wide range of cargo including oversized, irregular, and standard shipments.

The new office will be led by Huizi Zhao (Bella Zhao), who has recently joined as the manager for Central Greater China. Zhao’s responsibilities include managing charter and freight forwarding operations, driving commercial development, and ensuring high-quality service delivery nationwide. She expressed her commitment to leveraging the group’s resources to expand their regional presence and enhance operational efficiency.

Chapman Freeborn offers air cargo charter services to multinational corporations, governments, NGOs, relief agencies, and high-net-worth individuals. As part of Avia Solutions Group, it boasts over 50 years of experience, a fleet of 187 aircraft worldwide, and a network of more than 250 subsidiaries. The group also provides related aviation services such as MRO, pilot training, and ground handling, supported by a workforce of 14,000 aviation professionals operating across six continents.
