China Airlines has extended its partnership with in-flight entertainment (IFE) provider Immfly to include ten additional Airbus A330 aircraft. This expansion builds on the original five-year agreement signed in 2022, initially covering the airline’s Boeing 737-800 fleet.

The agreement facilitates Immfly’s growth in the Taiwanese market, enhancing the airline's digital inflight retail and entertainment offerings through a bring-your-own-device platform. Passengers can easily access movies, music, magazines, and online shopping via their phones or tablets, thus elevating their inflight experience.

Industry Significance

"In an era when digitalization is essential, we offer an advanced, modular solution that empowers airlines to evolve their digital strategy at their own pace while unlocking new revenue opportunities," said Pablo Linz, co-founder of Immfly. This collaboration emphasizes the trend in airline digital services and the growing importance of flexible, passenger-centric IFE systems.
