Clark Aviation Capital (CAC) is actively developing Clark International Airport (CRK) in the Philippines as a major logistics and aviation hub. The Clark Civil Aviation Complex, covering 2,367 hectares, is being transformed into an integrated estate designed to support air cargo, light manufacturing, and related industries. This initiative is supported by infrastructure investments, policy reforms, and increased cargo activity.
The Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) has shifted its strategy towards estate management and infrastructure enhancement to unlock the complex’s long-term potential. The airport has reported steady growth, with increasing passenger traffic and cargo volumes. Notably, FedEx has expanded its facility at Clark, illustrating continued private sector interest.
Future infrastructure projects include the construction of a Clark National Food Hub for perishable goods, the development of a parallel runway for operational resilience, and a Multimodal Mobility Hub to improve connectivity. Regional projects like the North–South Commuter Railway and the Subic–Clark–Manila–Batangas railway are expected to enhance transportation links, integrating Clark into Luzon’s broader infrastructure network.
Clark’s strategic location and access to major expressways position it as a vital multimodal logistics hub, especially for time-sensitive shipments such as e-commerce. As cargo volumes rise, Clark aims to complement Metro Manila’s logistics capacity and serve as a long-term growth driver for the Philippine economy.
