Dassault Aviation has announced the debut of its latest flagship, the Falcon 10X, highlighting a significant evolution in business aviation. The new aircraft emphasizes a spacious, customizable cabin and cutting-edge aerodynamics, leveraging decades of fighter jet technology and innovative materials. Its extensive range of nearly 14,000 km at Mach 0.85 makes it capable of nonstop intercontinental flights, such as New York to Shanghai, while maintaining exceptional operational flexibility, including access to aerodynamically challenging airports like London City.

The Falcon 10X’s cabin is its standout feature—occupying 79 cubic meters, it is the largest purpose-built business jet cabin ever produced. Its modular design allows owners to adapt the interior to their needs, from private suites to conference rooms, supported by full-scale mock-ups for real-time visualization. Enhanced by a wider cross-section, the interior provides better headroom, aisle space, and natural lighting with 38 large windows, creating a bright, open environment.

Advanced Performance and Engineering

The aircraft’s performance is bolstered by adaptive aerodynamics, including a new aluminum fuselage, high-aspect-ratio composite wings, and the Rolls-Royce Pearl 10X engines, which offer over 18,000 pounds of thrust and have been tested on sustainable aviation fuels. This powertrain ensures efficiency, durability, and environmental compliance. The aircraft’s composite wings reduce weight and improve high-speed stability, while sophisticated low-speed handling ensures accessibility to short runways.

"The Falcon 10X is a game changer. It combines space, speed, and performance in a way that sets new industry standards," said Philippe Reignier.

The cockpit features Dassault’s NeXus flight deck with touchscreen interfaces, digital controls, and pilot-centric ergonomics, including fighter-inspired Hands-On-Throttle-And-Stick controls and head-up displays. Safety systems such as FalconEye and FalconScan provide operational security in low-visibility conditions and support maintenance planning. Overall, the Falcon 10X embodies Dassault’s vision of a future-ready, high-performance business jet that prioritizes comfort, efficiency, and safety.
