EgyptAir has significantly improved its global standing in the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards, moving into the top 50 for the first time. The airline was ranked 46th out of 100, up from 69th in 2025, and received multiple accolades including Best Cabin Crew in Africa, Most Improved Airline in Africa, and Best Economy Class in Africa.
This recognition highlights EgyptAir's progress in service quality and operational standards, reflecting broader efforts within Egypt’s civil aviation sector. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi congratulated the airline on its achievements, emphasizing that the rise into the top 50 underscores ongoing improvements.
