An emergency response was activated when seven Hawaiian Airlines flight attendants reported nausea and headaches due to an unidentified odor onboard a recent flight. The Airbus A330, operating from Los Angeles to Honolulu with 252 passengers and nine crew, safely arrived at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

Upon landing, the affected crewmembers underwent medical evaluation and were released by medical personnel. The aircraft was inspected before being returned to service. The airline stated that no passengers required medical attention during or after the flight.

Investigation and Background

The cause of the odor has not yet been determined publicly. This incident follows prior reports of onboard odors, including a diverted American Airlines flight to Dublin, which was later traced to an onboard oven.

Safety remains the airline's priority, and it has expressed gratitude towards emergency responders for their swift response. Authorities are continuing investigations to identify the source of the odor and prevent similar incidents in the future.
