Emirates Group announced a record profit before tax of Dh 24.4 billion for the fiscal year 2025-2026, demonstrating remarkable resilience amid ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Despite regional disruptions, including conflicts affecting aviation operations, the airline achieved historic highs in revenue and cash assets, totaling Dh150.5 billion and Dh59.6 billion respectively.

The group's workforce grew by 8%, reaching 130,919 employees, as Emirates continued hiring across its airline and aviation services divisions. Chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum credited Dubai’s extensive infrastructure investments and cohesive aviation ecosystem for enabling safe corridors and operational stability during turbulent times.

This financial milestone underscores Dubai's position as a critical global aviation hub, supporting over 630,000 jobs in the emirate. Emirates’ network expansion resumed, with the airline now serving 137 destinations worldwide. Industry experts highlight the importance of Dubai’s strategic infrastructure investments in maintaining resilience and promoting recovery amid geopolitical challenges.
