Emirates Airlines is reinvesting in physical retail locations called World Stores, aiming to replicate the traditional city office model with a modern digital and experiential twist. Despite regional geopolitical challenges, including restricted air corridors affecting flights to Dubai, Emirates has launched a new store in Gurugram near Delhi, India's capital, as part of a broader strategic expansion plan.

These stores feature state-of-the-art digital and visual displays, including transparent MicroLED facades and interactive touchpoints, providing visitors with immersive experiences such as exploring First Class suites and onboard lounges. The initiative, with an investment of USD 47.4 million into the first ten outlets, seeks to combine personalized service with brand engagement, attracting millions of walk-in customers globally.

Different markets tailor the store configurations, with flagship locations offering VIP networking spaces, and others highlighting premium classes or lounge experiences on aircraft like the Airbus A380. Emirates also incorporates digital consultation tools and branded merchandise, leveraging innovative tech to redefine the physical airline retail space amid ongoing regional challenges.
