EVA Air has been recognized as a 5-Star Airline by Skytrax for the 2026 certification, marking its eleventh consecutive year of achieving the highest rating in the international airline industry. The airline is distinguished as one of only ten global carriers to hold this status, which reflects exceptional standards in service, safety, and operational excellence.

Skytrax, established in 1989 as a global leader in airline and airport ratings, highlights EVA Air’s consistent performance across onboard presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality. According to Skytrax representatives, EVA Air's long-standing commitment to quality has earned it a reputation for reliability and superior passenger experience.

Expansion into North America

Looking ahead, EVA Air announced the introduction of a new route connecting Taipei to Washington, D.C., starting June 26, offering four weekly flights. The airline will deploy its fourth-generation Premium Economy cabin on this route, contributing to a broader network expansion that will include ten gateways across North America and a total of 98 weekly flights. This positions EVA Air as the leading Taiwanese airline operating the most destinations to North America.

Founded in 1989 as Taiwan’s first private international airline, EVA Air is a member of Star Alliance and operates a fleet exceeding 80 Boeing and Airbus aircraft serving approximately 60 international destinations across Asia, Oceania, Europe, and North America. The airline emphasizes high standards of onboard cleanliness and hospitality, which are reinforced by its ongoing recognition as a 5-Star Airline.

Skytrax’s airline star rating system has served as the industry benchmark since 1999, evaluating airlines based on the quality of their service and product. EVA Air’s receipt of this rating underscores its dedication to excellence and continuous improvement within the highly competitive global airline industry.
