ExecuJet MRO Services South Africa, a subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, has renewed its approvals from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and multiple African civil aviation authorities, including those of Angola, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, and Zambia. These certifications mark the widest network of regulatory approvals held by any MRO facility in Africa, ensuring extensive operational legitimacy across the continent.

The company’s Johannesburg facility at Lanseria International Airport underwent comprehensive regulatory audits that assessed maintenance record traceability, engineering qualifications, certifications, and quality control systems to ensure they meet international standards. These approvals exemplify the company's commitment to maintaining high safety and quality benchmarks in aviation maintenance.

Vince Goncalves, Regional VP Africa at ExecuJet MRO Services, emphasized the importance of these approvals: "Maintaining these approvals is more than a compliance requirement. It demonstrates our technical capability and the trust we have earned from regulators across Africa." He also highlighted the significant growth in Africa’s business aviation market, which now exceeds 400 operational aircraft. The increased activity includes new aircraft entering service and international charter operators establishing fleets, underscoring Africa’s increasing strategic relevance in global business aviation.

In addition to regulatory renewals, ExecuJet MRO Services South Africa is expanding its operational capacity with the installation of a new in-house spray booth, allowing for touch-up paintwork on aircraft components up to 1.5 metres. The facility remains the largest business aviation MRO in Africa, capable of accommodating up to 14 aircraft of varying sizes, reinforcing its leadership position in the region’s maintenance sector.
