Robert Machtlinger, CEO of the Austrian aerospace supplier FACC, stated that Comac is increasingly commercially significant to his company. During an interview with Aviation Week on February 13, he mentioned that the Chinese aircraft manufacturer is requesting more parts from FACC to support its production ramp-up. The CEO emphasized the importance of this growing relationship for FACC's future business prospects.
In addition to boosting sales, this demand signifies the strengthening of China’s emerging aircraft industry and its supply chain collaborations. FACC supplies components to several major aircraft programs and anticipates continued growth due to China's expanding aviation market.
