The Halldale Group reports a significant milestone in aviation training with the successful completion of the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for a Boeing 737 flight simulation device. Developed by FTD.aero, the EASA FNPT II MCC B73M Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) was tested for Flyschool Air Academy in Spain and passed without any significant findings.

The simulator is slated for installation at Flyschool’s facilities at Cuatro Vientos Airport in Madrid by the end of 2025. Following installation, it will undergo certification by the Spanish Civil Aviation Authority (AESA) in January 2026, under European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards for FNPT II MCC simulators. Once certified, the device will enhance Flyschool’s Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training, aligning with airline pilot standards and better preparing cadets for airline operations.

FTD.aero’s support marks a step forward in expanding pilot training infrastructure in Spain. The company will continue supporting Flyschool through the certification process and subsequent operational deployment, contributing to the modernization of aviation training capabilities in the region.
