GAL Aviation has adopted Kale Logistics’ Airport Cargo Community System (ACS) at El Dorado International Airport to enhance cargo appointment scheduling and management. The move aims to improve operational efficiency, transparency, and coordination among logistics stakeholders, including exporters and freight forwarders. The platform is expected to streamline cargo flow, reduce delays, and increase shipment visibility.
GAL Aviation has invited its partners to register on the new system as part of a transition aligned with industry standards. According to Juan Pablo Luchau, CEO of GAL, the new platform signifies a step toward modernization and bolsters Colombia’s air cargo sector’s competitiveness. Kale’s President, Amar More, highlighted the importance of digital ecosystems in managing growing cargo volumes efficiently.
The initiative reflects a broader trend toward digital transformation in airport logistics, promising improved predictability and better cargo handling at Bogotá’s primary air freight hub.
