Hainan Airlines, part of HNA Aviation Group, has proudly maintained its SKYTRAX Five-Star Airline status for the 15th consecutive year, a recognition presented at the 2026 World Airline Awards in London. The airline continues to receive global accolades, ranking among the top 10 airlines worldwide and winning awards for service excellence within China.

Edward Plaisted, CEO of SKYTRAX, congratulated the airline for its sustained high standards. The carrier’s international network now spans over 70 routes across Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, and Oceania, with ongoing efforts to optimize and expand its offerings. Ground services at key hubs have been streamlined to improve passenger experience, including increased departure points within China and internationally.

Enhancement of Service and Brand Values

Hainan Airlines' brand pillars include cultural experience, exceeding expectations, and human-centered service, delivered through dedicated sub-brands: DREAM, HAI, and CARE. These encompass premium lounges, efficient check-in services, baggage handling, and pet-friendly travel options. The airline has also strengthened its partnerships with luxury brands like IHG and regional culinary traditions to elevate in-flight dining.

"We are greatly honored to receive these awards," said Zhu Tao, Vice President of HNA Group. "They reflect the dedication of our staff and the trust of our passengers. We will continue to innovate and improve our services worldwide."

Looking ahead, Hainan Airlines plans to further develop its international capabilities, improve safety, and deliver refined travel experiences, supporting China’s aviation growth and the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
