HAVELSAN, a leading flight simulator manufacturer based in Türkiye, has initiated construction of a new production and integration facility in Ankara, aimed at enhancing its manufacturing capacity for both civil and military simulators. Once operational in 2027, the facility will enable the company to produce over 30 simulators annually and support up to 16 concurrent projects, with a total capacity of 40 simulators under development.

This expansion establishes HAVELSAN as the largest full-flight simulator producer in the region, emphasizing Türkiye's growing influence in the global aviation training market. The new plant will also incorporate advanced technologies, notably the in-house developed STARVIEW-B collimated display system, which provides high-fidelity visuals to improve pilot immersion and procedural accuracy.

The project is expected to generate hundreds of high-skilled jobs in Ankara, further bolstering Türkiye’s aerospace and defense sector. HAVELSAN has supported domestic and international clients such as Turkish Airlines, SunExpress, and IFTC, and contributes to key national programs including HÜRJET, HÜRKUŞ, KAAN, and GÖKBEY. With over 40 years of experience, HAVELSAN has already delivered more than 400 simulators across various platforms.
