According to a recent report by aviation analytics firm Cirium, IndiGo has been recognized as one of the most punctual airlines in the Asia-Pacific region for 2025. The Indian carrier achieved a 78.12% on-time arrival rate, ranking sixth among the top 10 airlines in the region based on performance data. This ranking considers flights arriving within approximately 15 minutes of scheduled Gate arrival times, highlighting IndiGo's consistent performance in a competitive market.
The report details that IndiGo operated over 800,000 flights during the year, maintaining its reputation for punctuality despite occasional disruptions. Globally, other airlines such as Aeromexico and Qatar Airways secured higher ranks, with punctuality rates of 90.02% and 84.42%, respectively.
Philippine Airlines topped the Asia-Pacific list with an 83.12% punctuality rate, followed by airlines like Air New Zealand, All Nippon Airways, and Singapore Airlines. The findings underscore the importance of operational efficiency and reliability in the airline industry, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.
