In an important move within the aviation industry, ITA Airways, Italy's premier airline, is set to integrate fully with the Miles & More loyalty program from April 1, 2026. This partnership aims to offer passengers enhanced travel rewards and a more extensive network of benefits, positioning ITA Airways as a more competitive player in international aviation markets.

Miles & More is among Europe's largest frequent flyer programs, with over 39 million members. Its collaboration with ITA Airways will provide access to more than 170 international partners, including 35 airline partners such as Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, and Austrian Airlines, and 135 non-airline partners. This extensive alliance will allow passengers to earn and redeem miles across a broad array of services, including flights, hotels, car rentals, and retail.

Enhanced Loyalty and Service Perks

As a result of this partnership, ITA Airways customers will enjoy perks such as priority check-ins, extra luggage allowances, access to airport lounges, priority boarding, and other exclusive benefits. The collaboration is designed to speed up mile accumulation and improve reward flexibility, including free upgrades and targeted promotions, fostering increased customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Starting in April 2026, travelers can enroll in Miles & More through the airline’s website or at check-in, with benefits being immediately available on bookings. The integration is expected to broaden ITA Airways' global reach and enhance its service offerings, making it a more attractive option for both leisure and business travelers.

This strategic alliance signifies ITA Airways' broader vision of aligning more closely with key global carriers and offering seamless travel experiences. As the airline continues its growth trajectory, this partnership underscores its commitment to customer-centric innovations and its intention to strengthen its standing in the competitive international aviation landscape.
