Jazeera Airways has launched an innovative 'Fly Now, Pay Later' payment service in Kuwait, partnering with the local fintech company deema. This initiative allows travelers to secure flight bookings through installment payments without interest, making air travel more accessible and flexible for the Kuwait market. The service is integrated into the airline’s digital booking system, providing an instant eligibility check during checkout to streamline the customer experience.
The new BNPL solution is currently available for transactions in Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD), offering customers the option to split their payments into two to four installments. This development is part of Jazeera Airways’ ongoing digital transformation efforts, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and customer convenience. From the airline's perspective, deema manages the entire collection process, ensuring full payment upfront while reducing administrative burdens.
This partnership supports Kuwait’s broader strategy to develop its digital economy while positioning Jazeera Airways as a leader in digital innovation within the region. The airline plans to expand its digital services further, with more customer-centric solutions on the horizon, reinforcing its commitment to making air travel more affordable and user-friendly.
