King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah has begun the phased opening of its new Terminal 4, a move designed to increase capacity and improve passenger handling. The phased transition involves transferring selected airlines, including Wizz Air, AJet, and SalamAir, from their current terminals to the new facility, with additional airlines scheduled to follow in stages. Covering 97,000 square meters, Terminal 4 is outfitted with modern facilities and dedicated check-in areas for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. This expansion aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to serve more than 90 million passengers annually through its aviation sector by 2030. Passengers are advised to confirm their departure details with airlines and monitor updates from the airport’s official channels. The new terminal is expected to distribute passenger traffic efficiently, supporting the country’s broader transportation and tourism goals.
