Private aviation company Jetex has announced a strategic investment in Azzera Inc., a firm specializing in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and carbon management. The partnership was formalized at Dubai Airshow 2025, signaling a developing effort toward enhanced environmental responsibility within the luxury and private aviation sector.
Under this agreement, Jetex plans to work closely with Azzera to procure and manage SAF for its international fleet starting in early 2026. This move marks a significant step for Jetex in its sustainability journey, enabling the integration of renewable fuel into its operations for the first time.
Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Aviation
A central aspect of the partnership involves Azzera's development of the SAF Productivity Operations and Delivery (SAF POD) platform. This tool aims to reduce administrative barriers associated with SAF adoption, facilitating its scalable use among supply chain participants.
"Together, we’re bridging the gap between climate ambition and operational reality with practical tools that make sustainability accessible, transparent, and measurable," said Puja Mahajan, CEO of Azzera. "Their investment and involvement will enable us to continue evolving intuitive technology to help our customers, partners, and investors support the global ambitions of reducing carbon emissions."
Jetex CEO Adel Mardini emphasized the importance of the initiative, affirming that Jetex is committed to advancing responsible aviation practices to meet environmental goals. The partnership also supports Azzera’s ongoing development, including emissions tracking, compliance automation, and access to carbon markets through its Celeste platform. The USD $800,000 capital raise will further fuel these efforts, fostering a sustainable digital ecosystem within the aviation industry.
