US-based aviation equipment provider KORE Aviation participated in the 2026 Asia Pacific Aviation Training Summit (APATS), held at Bangkok's Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre from August 31 to September 2. The company showcased its range of student pilot headsets, emphasizing features like reliability, communication clarity, comfort, and durability through its focus on equipment used in repeated flight training scenarios.
During the event, KORE highlighted its existing collaboration with over 30 US flight schools and the sale of more than 50,000 headsets since 2015. The summit attracted over 700 attendees from over 40 countries, including airlines, training organizations, regulators, and technology companies, under the theme "Rethinking Airline Training."
The company's presence at APATS expanded its outreach in the Asia-Pacific region, especially following its entry into the Philippine market in 2025 via a distribution deal. Its main product, the KA-1 headset, offers passive noise reduction of 24 dB, with features such as stereo and mono operation, independent volume controls, a noise-cancelling microphone, auxiliary input, and a five-year warranty.
KORE also aimed to gather feedback from flight schools on the performance of their communication equipment across different aircraft and training environments. The event provided an opportunity for the company to connect with regional Approved Training Organizations and other stakeholders involved in flight training development.
