Premium lounge brand Kyra, an venture from Airport Dimensions, SSP and Travel Food Services Limited (TFS), is expanding its footprint in the Asia Pacific region with a second space at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). The lounge, situated in Terminal 1’s West Hall near Gate 40, offers seating for 230 guests along with a variety of dining, relaxation, and work-friendly areas. The first Kyra Lounge at HKIA, opened in Summer 2024, has already received multiple awards including Asia Pacific Lounge of the Year 2025 in the Priority Pass Excellence Awards and Asia’s Leading Airport Lounge 2025 at the World Travel Awards, reflecting strong demand for airport hospitality in Hong Kong.
The new lounge builds on the success of its predecessor, with Airport Dimensions providing design and guest experience vision, SSP handling culinary operations, and TFS contributing regional hospitality. The lounge is open to all travelers regardless of airline or class, accessible via Priority Pass, LoungeKey, or purchase at the lounge. Airport executives see the expansion as a reflection of passenger demand for high-quality airport experiences and solidify Hong Kong’s status as a strategic hub in the region.
Errol McGlothan, President EMEA & APAC at Airport Dimensions, remarked: “Having a second Kyra Lounge at HKIA within such a short timeframe is a milestone. It highlights the region’s growth and the strength of our partnerships.” SSP Asia Pacific CEO Jonathan Robinson added: “This second lounge elevates our shared ambition to enhance hospitality across the APAC region.” TFS MD & CEO Varun Kapur emphasized the operational excellence of the collaboration in delivering high-quality service and hospitality, marking a significant step in airport experience enhancements.
