LATAM Airlines has achieved a significant milestone by being awarded a 4-Star rating by Skytrax, following detailed evaluations at the end of 2025. This recognition places LATAM among a select group of airlines worldwide, indicating notable enhancements in both ground and onboard services.

According to Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers at LATAM, this achievement marks Latin America’s first airline to attain such a standard and demonstrates the airline’s dedication to providing high-quality passenger experiences. Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted commended LATAM’s progress, particularly highlighting upgraded lounge facilities and service consistency on aircraft such as the Boeing 787, which now features new Business Class seats.

The airline operates a diverse fleet that includes models from Boeing and Airbus, serving destinations across Latin America and internationally across numerous regions. LATAM’s continuous improvement efforts reflect its goal of not only elevating service standards but also positioning itself competitively in the global airline industry.
