The deal, concluded on October 31, 2025, includes assets such as Jeppesen, ForeFlight, AerData, and Oz Runways, aiming to enhance aviation software capabilities.
The firm’s legal team, led by attorneys Duffy Lorenz, Collin Stich, and Colin Bowes-Carlson, coordinated a complex international transaction that involved specialists across corporate, employment, patent, real estate, and project management disciplines. Kirkland & Ellis acted as the lead legal counsel for Thoma Bravo in this transaction.
