Lootah Biofuels and the global aviation consulting firm SimpliFlying have entered into a partnership via a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at advancing sustainability initiatives within the aviation sector. The collaboration focuses on developing and promoting sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) as a key component in reducing the industry’s carbon footprint.
The MoU was formally signed by Yousif bin Saeed Lootah, CEO of Lootah Biofuels, alongside the CEO of SimpliFlying, in the presence of aviation industry leaders and sustainability experts. The agreement underscores their shared commitment to raising awareness and exchanging technical knowledge concerning emission mitigation efforts across the sector.
