Lufthansa Technik AG announced a strong financial performance for 2025, with revenues exceeding 8 billion euros and earnings of over 600 million euros. Despite facing challenges such as geopolitical tensions and tariff impacts, the company remains optimistic about its future growth trajectory, aiming to increase earnings by over 10% annually through to 2030.
During the year, the aircraft maintenance provider invested over two billion euros into expanding and upgrading its global facilities. Notable projects include new workshops and logistics centers at Hamburg, Alzey, and Santa Maria da Feira, each designed to boost repair capacities in Europe and beyond. The company also explores further capabilities in the Asia-Pacific and North American markets, including a new engine repair facility in Calgary, Canada.
Beyond traditional maintenance, Lufthansa Technik expanded into defense support, supporting German military aircraft, and developed advanced digital fleet management solutions used by approximately one-third of the world's commercial aircraft. The company secured new contracts valued at 8.8 billion euros, reflecting increased demand across all regions, particularly in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
CEO Soeren Stark highlighted the company's resilience and confidence, attributing success to employee dedication and customer trust. The strategic investments position Lufthansa Technik for continued growth amid market uncertainties, further reinforcing its leadership in the aircraft maintenance and digital support sectors.
